Natural amenities are the feature element of The Cove’s plan with more than 50% of the residential
community secured and preserved by common areas and natural open spaces. These areas are made up
of natural landscapes consisting of mature forests, wetlands, ponds, granite outcroppings and bluffs,
and open meadows. Within these open spaces will be resident gathering areas that may include picnic
shelters with tables and grills, fire rings for campfires, outdoor seating areas and gazebos.
TRAILS
Our private trail system is designed to fit perfectly into the beautiful landscape and historic topography
of The Cove. The 3˝ miles of trails wind through forests of tall oak trees, around ponds and wetlands
and over soaring granite bluffs. The history of this land is so significant, residents can travel back in
time, simply by stepping out the front door.
PRIVATE DOCKS & BOAT SLIPS
Two private docks have been designated for 18 private boat slips. These boat slips will belong to the 18
Riverfront Villa homeowners.
PRIVATE BOAT LANDING & STORAGE FACILITY
The Cove’s private boat landing is located between the Riverfront Villas and is exclusively for Cove residents.
The general public does not and will not have access to launch boats from our landing. Also
planned is a secure resident boat storage facility adjacent to the private landing.
PIRATE’S COVE RESTAURANT & GAS DOCK
The new Pirate’s Cove Restaurant will be built in the same location as the former Supper Club. A dock
containing 30 boat slips on the Mississippi River will be located at the new restaurant and is designated
for customers on the river. A Gas Dock will also be at this location and will be the only Gas Dock on this
portion of the Mississippi River.
